The landmark edX settlement agreement with the Department of Justice not only requires edX to establish an accessible website, but edX mobile applications, content management system, and MOOC platform all must be made accessible to people with disabilities. All of edX's web-based content must be accessible.
In addition to upgrading their existing systems to provide accessible web based content for people with disabilities, edX will also offer guidance to the creators of the online courses that are hosted and delivered from the edX platform.
