From Digital Journal “USBLN technology HUB to Connect Certified Disability-Owned Businesses to Corporate Buyers”
The Disability Supplier Diversity Program (DSDP) has just been launched by the U.S. Business Leadership Network (USBLN). The new technology tool allows certified disability-owned businesses (disability-owned business enterprises and service-disabled veteran disability-owned business enterprises) access to corporate buyers, decision makers, and contracting opportunities. In turn, USBLN’s new Certification and Sourcing HUB will improve certification processes for the disability-owned businesses. As more disability-owned businesses become certified and enter the realm of disability supplier, it will open greater opportunities for people with disabilities and increase innovation.
AudioEye has served as USBLN’s technology and accessibility partner in the creation of the Certification and Sourcing Hub.
“As a company whose core mission is technology and innovation, AudioEye is devoted to reducing the digital divide and creating readily accessible tools that provide an optimal user experience for the community of individuals with disabilities we seek to serve.”
AudioEye’s very own CEO, Todd Bankofier, expressed how USBLN and AudioEye were able to create an accessible resource to provide opportunity for disability-owned businesses.
“Equipped with the AudioEye solution, the new USBLN Certification and sourcing HUB will allow users with disabilities to consume content, independently, and interact with potential business customers and other certified suppliers. Not only have we ensured full access and usability for users accessing the USBLN application using their own assistive technologies, but we have also provided free web enhancement tools that help improve the user experience for everyone. In an on-going capacity, we look forward to serving as the accessibility advisor and maintaining the performance and utility of the new system.”
