How the calculator works
This calculator helps you estimate how much time it would take to make your website fully conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(opens in a new tab) (WCAG), based on the number of unique accessibility issues likely to appear across your pages.
To keep things simple, we use WebAIM’s 2025 estimate of the average number of unique issues per page. Multiply that by your total page count, and you get a ballpark estimate of how much work it will take to address every WCAG violation on your site.
There are a few variables that can impact the time required, which is why our experts can give you a clearer answer after reviewing your site:
How your site is built matters.
If your site uses templates and shared components, one fix can clean up dozens or even hundreds of pages. But if everything is custom or built with older code, more issues will need to be fixed individually.
How often you update it matters, too.
Each update is a chance for new accessibility issues to slip through the cracks. Without automated monitoring or the right dev processes in place, it’s easy for issues to build up in the background and add to your workload.
