AudioEye, the industry-leading digital accessibility company, is excited to announce the launch of AudioEye Learning, a new set of free online courses designed to make accessibility education simple, approachable, and actionable. The program offers structured Courses on topics including Web Accessibility 101, Digital Accessibility and Compliance Laws, and Accessible Coding, with more planned for future release.
Unlike traditional gated training platforms, AudioEye Learning is open to anyone. The courses are modular, self-paced, and built for real-world application, whether you’re a designer writing alt text, a developer implementing semantic HTML, or a business leader navigating ADA(opens in a new tab), WCAG(opens in a new tab), or EAA(opens in a new tab) requirements.
Why We Created AudioEye Learning
Accessibility can feel overwhelming. Blogs, FAQs, and official standards are often too scattered, too dense, or too technical, leaving professionals unsure of where to start. At the same time, most training options are either paywalled or too high-friction for people who just want to explore and learn at their own pace.
AudioEye Learning was created to change that. Instead of asking learners to piece together information on their own, we’ve organized key topics into structured Courses. Each one blends short lessons, videos, quizzes, and practical examples into a clear, lightweight journey that allows professionals to move forward with clarity and confidence, at a pace that works for them.
“Our goal was to make accessibility knowledge both practical and approachable,” said Alisa Smith, Accessibility Evangelist at AudioEye. “Too often, people assume accessibility training is overly technical or only for specialists. We built these courses to show that anyone, whether designers, marketers, developers, or business leaders, can take meaningful steps to make the digital world more accessible.”
What You’ll Learn
At launch, AudioEye Learning includes three dedicated paths:
Web Accessibility 101. A foundation for designers, content creators, and product managers. The course explains how assistive technologies work, shows the design choices that improve usability for more people, and introduces simple testing methods that teams can use to identify and fix accessibility issues.
Digital Accessibility and Compliance Laws: Designed for business leaders, compliance officers, and legal teams. This course explains which accessibility laws and standards apply to different types of organizations, how to build documentation, and how to shift compliance from a reactive burden to a proactive advantage that protects brand reputation.
Accessible Coding: A technical path for developers and engineers. This course covers semantic HTML, ARIA, and keyboard navigation with practical workflows that help developers avoid costly rework and build stronger, more accessible digital experiences from the start.
Each course blends short lessons, interactive elements, downloadable resources, and practical examples, with the goal of helping learners move from “What is accessibility?” to “I have what I need to make it happen.”
Looking Ahead: What’s Next for AudioEye Learning
AudioEye plans to expand AudioEye Learning with new Courses and deeper content in areas like Accessible Design Systems, Testing with Assistive Tech, and Advanced Compliance Strategies. The platform also lays the foundation for future glossary and cross-site integrations, designed to create bridges between blog content, resources, and structured learning.
“Accessibility is a journey, not a one-time project,” added Smith. “With AudioEye Learning, we’re creating a trusted space for professionals to return, build confidence, and grow their skills over time. This is about empowering the next generation of accessibility champions.”
AudioEye Learning is available now and free to everyone.
