April has worked in the accessibility field since 2017, being a Q&A accessibility tester for AudioEye since 2022. Her twenty-plus-year professional career intertwines accessibility testing with an extensive background in the paralegal and medical transcription fields. While she has seen much evolution in the inclusion of accessibility technology users in the accessibility job market, she believes many doors are still closed that could open by employing more capable individuals in this area. Thus, she has focused her career on accessibility testing and, so far, informal advocacy.
