Accessibility overlays promised a shortcut: a quick installation, and your site is compliant. For most teams, that promise did not hold up, and now the harder question is what actually works instead.   • Is accessibility monitored continuously? A one-time audit ages the moment your site changes. Ongoing monitoring is what keeps it current.

  • What exactly is it promising? Be wary of any tool that promises instant or one-click compliance. Accessibility is ongoing work, and a promise that it is not should be a warning sign.
